Maud CHASSERIAU

Maud Chasseriau is an international expert in customs, port logistics and risk management, with more than 40 years of experience in trade facilitation and trade security. After a brilliant career at the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxes (France), she now continues her activities as an independent consultant to several international institutions, including the World Customs Organization (WCO).

A specialist in customs procedures, transit and connectivity between logistics and customs information systems, she has actively contributed to the redesign of the European Union Customs Code. Her expertise has led her to work in more than fifteen countries, particularly in West and Central Africa, on port optimization missions, border management and tax revenue security.

A member of the AIDF, it now puts its know-how at the service of customs reform, the digitalization of processes and regional cooperation. Knight of the Order of Maritime Merit, she embodies excellence and commitment to the sustainable development of supply chains in Africa.
